近幾個月來資訊業中無論是軟體或是硬體都陸續有許多大作逐漸推出…在硬體方面，如今已進入 32bits 與 64bits 的交替時期，其中大概以 Intel Core2 Duo 系列處理器最引人矚目了，配合預計在明年初推出的 Windows Vista、Office 2007 等軟體，勢必會掀起一股主機升級風潮…同時最近也有 FireFox2、Internet Explorer 7、Windows Live 等重量級的軟體與服務推出…但不得不說一下…M$ 產品的品質實在是沒什麼長進…Orz，偏偏 DirectX 10 將只支援 Windows Vista，大概會讓許多深度的遊戲玩家們陸續被迫升級…
家庭娛樂主機方面，五月時 Microsoft 推出了 XBOX 360，接下來十一月中 Sony 的 PlayStation 3 也即將開賣，隨即 Nintendo 的 Wii 也預計在十二月時從低價市場切入…但不管是哪一款主機，目前支援的遊戲都還不多就是了…
至於線上遊戲方面，Vanguard 這款由 Sigil 所開發的 MMORPG 似乎被許多人所期待，雖然國內尚無任何代理的消息(因為 CEQ、EQ2E 的失敗大概也沒人敢代理)，但已經引起許多原本的無盡的任務玩家的注意，因為這款遊戲是由原 EverQuest 製作群出走 SOE 後所製作，後來才又再和 SOE 合作推出，因此被許多人認定這款遊戲才是真正的 EverQuest2，目前 Vanguard 正在 Close Beta 中，但已經可以預購，預計也是明年第一季時推出…雖然國內似乎還沒什麼人知道這款遊戲，也沒什麼人在討論，但在國外的論壇中已經被討論得沸沸洋洋了。至於其所需要的硬體需求，據說比 EverQuest2 還高，因此想玩這款遊戲的人更是勢必要幫自己的主機好好升級一下了…
