前幾天公司的大事就是有一位同仁在公司裡跳樓，送醫不治。除了原本工作不順遂以外，主要原因是被詐騙了四百多萬，對於一個必須支撐家庭並養育子女的人，這樣的事件成為壓倒他的最後一根稻草。
上週五在新竹火車站附近享用晚餐的時候，我的車窗玻璃被打破，筆記型電腦被宵小偷走。一方面對於自己不信邪，認為吃個晚餐不用一小時東西不會那麼倒楣被偷而感到後悔，另一方面更對於一年多來累積的許多工作資料都泡湯感到無奈。只能慶幸我有備份重要資料的習慣，至少一些重要的 Source Code 都還在手邊。若是發生在沒有備份習慣的人身上的話，或許又會是壓在他身上的最後一根稻草。
最近遇到類似的事情不只上述兩項，也許詐騙與偷竊的人不認為這樣做足以置人於死，甚至還會將自己的行為合理化，認為偷盜、詐取物品與金錢等行為只是讓那些生活較富裕的人損失一點小東西，甚至認為這樣做可以讓包括我在內的這些粗心大意的人學乖，讓他們以後不會再犯同樣的錯。會有這些觀念的人實在是很幼稚與自私，在這社會裡大家都是很努力在求生存，沒有人可以躺著就有飯吃，所有人都有自己的壓力，都有自己的夢想。僅管這些小惡並不如殺人放火般的可怕，但仍足以殺人。
『勿以惡小而為之』，因為那都是在造業，不會有好下場的。
